Um der erkennbaren Klima veränderung mit einem immer früheren Blattaustrieb zu begegnen, wird seit einigen Jahren eine besondere Pro duktlinie von im Springring kultivierten Solitärgehölzen sowie eine breite Auswahl von P fl anzen für eine späte Frühjahrs- und Sommerp fl anzung produziert. Bruns nurseries was founded in 1876 in Bad Zwischenahn and developed into one of Europe’s lead ing nurseries. Our 350 plus members of staff work ing in production and distribution are responsible for the diligent supply of plants to small and large planting schemes throughout Europe. The focus of our produc tion is on specimen trees and shrubs, ranging from sin gle picturesque plants to 50-year-old specimen trees, avenue trees, evergreens, small and large conifers and a wide selection of shaped plants. In response to the apparent climate change and ever earlier lea fi ng out times, Bruns has already been producing a special line of specimen trees cultivated in spring rings as well as a wide selection of plants that are prepared for planting in late spring and summer for several years. The BGL represents the interests of the German landscape and sports ground contractors at a national and European level. Its twelve federal associations serve the interests of over 4,100 predominantly small- and medium-sized businesses. As a service provider, the association presents itself as “Your Expert for Gardens and Landscapes”, offering made-to-measure, individual solutions for all aspects of landscaping and garden con struction. Its members account for over 60 percent of the nearly nine billion Euros total market turnover in the landscape industry in Germany.
